90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: What Happened To Victor And Ellie After Devastating Hurricane

Ellie Rose on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way TLC

Warning! the following contains spoilers for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 3. Read at your own risk!

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has returned for Season 3, and in addition to bring back some beloved cast members, the spinoff has added new couples in the mix. 46-year-old Seattle pizzeria owner Ellie Rose found love with Victor McLean, a 38-year-old from the island of Providencia. The couple's story got off to a crazy start after a flash-forward scene that showed Providencia in the path of the devastating Hurricane Iota, but what happened after that?

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way left viewers in suspense about what became of Victor McLean, as Ellie Rose lost contact with him in the days following the hurricane, which hit land in November 2020. In Season 3, audiences will see Rose travel to Providencia for answers, and based on what we've found online, she found them. A GoFundMe page started by Elie Rose in search of public donations confirmed that Victor McLean made it out of Hurricane Iota physically unscathed. Here's an excerpt from the page, in which Rose confirmed that McLean is alive and well following the destructive Category 5 hurricane.

Providencia island, a Caribbean island that is part of the Colombian Archipelago of San Andrés, was hit by category 5 hurricane Iota and completely decimated on Tuesday, November 17th. My love, Victor, his family, and 5,000 other amazing people call this island home. For two excruciatingly long days I did not know if they were dead or alive. Today we learned that while almost all of the infrastructure is destroyed, everyone survived!! My prayers are with the 2 (reported) who lost their lives.

The good news here, at least for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans, is that Victor McLean and Ellie Rose's story was able to continue beyond Hurricane Iota, and that Rose will indeed find a surviving McLean in Providencia. (I dare not think of how the show would have handled it if the opposite occurred.) Of course, the couple has had a lot more problems in their relationship other than natural disasters, and as far as whether or not the two will indeed end up living "happily ever after" is still very much up in the air.

Fans, for example, were already made aware of the fact that Victor McLean was unfaithful to Ellie Rose and had a relationship with another woman during their relationship. The cheating was a big red flag to friends back home in Rose's life, but the pizza shop owner was able to forgive, and she was still intent on selling her business to move to Providencia. Did it happen, though? According to Starcasm, possible evidence made its way online in a video for Ellie's business Central Pizza from June 27th, 2021, but the video has since been removed.

Currently, the latest picture of Ellie Rose on the pizzeria's Facebook page is from shortly before her trip to Colombia, which makes it feel as though any photographic evidence of what happened to her next was intentionally removed. As for Victor McLean, there have been reports of pictures showing Rose in the U.S. with a man who looks like McLean, but they've also been scrubbed. Essentially, we don't know anything too definitive at the moment, though it would appear that at the very least, she likely returned to the U.S. from Providencia. I guess we'll have to wait and see for sure.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs on TLC on Sunday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET, with episodes streaming early for Discovery+ subscribers. For more spoilers on what's happening with cast members in the franchise, read up on what Natalie Mordovtseva has been up to lately.
