After Pete Davidson Shout Out, 90 Day Fiancé's Big Ed Hopes To Get On Saturday Night Live

90 Day Fiancé has had plenty of interesting cast members over the years, but none of them have hit the mainstream quite in the way that Big Ed Brown did. The TLC reality star became a national conversation in his quest to find love, to the point that other celebrities like Pete Davidson are saying they'd be starstruck if they met him in public. Considering how many celebrities Davidson has rubbed shoulders with working on Saturday Night Live, that's saying something.

I recently spoke with Big Ed Brown about the recent 90 Day: The Single Life tell-all, and while we were on the topic, we talked about Pete Davidson. Brown, who recently did a Cameo in honor of Davidson's shoutout, talked a bit with me about the whole situation and how he's ready for the call if Lorne Michaels were to ring him up.

I was flabbergasted when Pete just started to, you know he made a comparison, he said 'Look, if I saw Leonardo DiCaprio walking down the street,' he's like, 'I don't think it would be a big deal.' But he's like 'If I saw Big Ed, walking down Fifth Avenue,' he's like 'I would lose my mind.' I mean, I love when I get fans who are celebrities. Tori Spelling was another one that was fan girling me... And it feels really good. Pete dated Ariana Grande, are you kidding me? And what I noticed about him too is, he's really... he's a comedian, and a lot of good comedians are very intelligent. Like he might joke around and say the lines that [he's given]. But... he is a really smart guy. The way he orates and the way he introduced me, and he made the comparison to my daughter... and he's laughing. So I have a lot of love for Pete. And I'm hoping to get on Saturday Night Live, that would be a blast.

Pete Davidson's fandom of Big Ed Brown is a straightforward path for the 90 Day Fiancé star to get on Saturday Night Live, and to be completely honest, I would love to see it happen. If there was ever a way for Saturday Night Live to do a whole legit 90 Day Fiancé sketch and get the guy who captivated the world only slightly less than Joe Exotic during 2020, I'd love to see it.

If Saturday Night Live or Pete Davidson doesn't get ahold of Big Ed Brown before SNL's upcoming Season 46 finale, all can rest assured that there will be another opportunity to bring him in for Season 47. Ed confirmed to CinemaBlend that there's more to come for Big Ed in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, though we didn't get many specifics beyond that.

One can guess Big Ed Brown will be around for another season of 90 Day: The Single Life, after he confirmed a breakup with recent girlfriend Elizabeth "Liz" Marie in Part 1 of the 90 Day: The Single Life tell-all. There have been rumors that Brown has found another new girlfriend in the time since, though nothing has been confirmed.

Part 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life tell-all will air on Discovery+ Sunday, May 23. For more on 90 Day Fiancé, be sure to check out our recent list of all the couples who tied the knot, but then went their separate ways not long after.
