This week, Star Wars lovers were gifted with the annual tradition of May the Fourth, the day in which fans express their love for George Lucas’ galaxy far, far away. This occasion usually comes with cool announcements and releases to get devotees excited. Of course, the fans aren’t the only ones who like to get in on the fun. The franchise’s stars enjoy celebrating the day as well, and The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal got in on the festivities by posting a very goofy behind-the-scenes photo.

On The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal plays Din Djarin, a skilled bounty hunter who’s not much for words. But in real life, the actor is pretty jovial and can be a goofball when he wants to be. This was more than clear in the recent photo he dropped on Twitter to celebrate May the Fourth. Check it out down below:

So Pedro Pascal took the Star Wars-centric holiday to make note of a downside that comes with wearing that cool Beskar armor -- helmet hair. But based on the post, I would say the actor takes it all in stride. In the past, Pascal has actually spoken on the fact that he relishes the opportunity to play a character who rarely shows his face. He’s even explained that not being able to emote through his facial expression has allowed him to refine both his body language and vocal intonation as an actor.

The Mandalorian star was far from the only Star Wars alum to celebrate May the Fourth this year. Franchise legend Mark Hamill honored the holiday by posting an A+ joke, while Mace Windu himself, Samuel L. Jackson, celebrated the day early by showing off a cool shirt. Billie Lourd, who played Lieutenant Connix in the sequel trilogy, also shared a sweet image of her baby son watching her late mother, Carrie Fisher, as Princess Leia. All of these tweets and others are fun to see and show just how much the actors have enjoyed their time in the iconic franchise.

Speaking of tenures in Star Wars, Pedro Pascal’s is still going strong. After two seasons of The Mandalorian, the actor will eventually be shooting a third. Details on the actual season are currently a mystery, though it’s likely we won’t see it until sometime after the debut of spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett. The first two seasons of The Mandalorian can currently be streamed on Disney+, which you can sign up for using this link.

With the release of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, a new Simpsons short and fun posts like Pedro Pascal’s, this year’s May the Fourth was a fun one. Let’s hope that by this time next year, Pascal will be able to celebrate by revealing a solution to his problem with helmet hair.
