Kim Kardashian Talks Feeling 'Like A Loser' After Split From Kanye West

The final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is heading into its final stretch of episodes. As expected, the season has provided plenty of drama for viewers so far, and it looks like things are only going to heat up in the latter half. Now, a new trailer has been released, and it teases a number of storylines, from a possible reconciliation between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian’s attempts to have another baby. And of course, it gave a glimpse at Kim Kardashian, who says she feels “like a loser” amid her split with Kanye West.

As of this writing, Keeping Up with the Kardashians has not explicitly indicated that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are divorcing. However, the show has alluded to the fact that the celebrity power couple were having marital problems while the season was shooting. In this most recent clip from the show’s YouTube channel, Kardashian is seen getting real about her relationship problems and having an exchange with mother Kris Jenner:

Kim Kardashian: [Crying] I feel like a loser, you know.Kris Jenner: I just want you to be happy and joyful.Kim K.: Yeah, and I’m ready to.

Despite the lack of any direct reference to the highly covered divorce, Kim Kardashian’s last comments do seem to line up with recent reports of her looking for a fresh start. The reality TV star had reportedly been through quite a bit leading up to her reported decision to file for divorce. Before the divorce news, she and Kanye West were reported to be “living separate lives” and had allegedly opted to stop attending marriage counseling. With this, one could see why Kardashian might be looking to restart things.

Keeping Up with the Kardashans’ final season wrapped earlier this year and, at present, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly going through the legal process of dissolving their marriage. Last month, West finally responded to his estranged wife’s petition for divorce (filed Feb. 19). In it, he asked for joint physical and legal custody of their children -- something Kardashian also wanted -- and requested the termination of the court’s ability to award spousal support and attorney's fees to either party. While West is allegedly unhappy with one part of the divorce narrative that’s been floating around, the divorce seems to be moving forward without too much drama.

While Kanye West has been spending much of his time at his ranch in Wyoming, Kim Kardashian has been using this time to adjust to her “new norm” and spend time with her loved ones. Recently, she even took a cue from other famous women by making a major change to her hairstyle.

It’s unclear as to just how much Keeping Up with the Kardashians will focus on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage in the final half of the season. But fans will likely keep tuning in to see how deep things get ahead of the series finale.

New episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on E!.
