A girls’ trip on any of the Real Housewives shows is a recipe for a drunken disaster. But what can fans expect from multiple huge personalities across different cities being in one house together? News of the franchise filming a mega-crossover Real Housewives special leaves us to speculate on the details, but one housewife has chimed in that it is a “great idea.”

Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran Cynthia Bailey spilled some tea to Us Weekly about her thoughts on a crossover and who she would like to see in it. And yes, she would like to be one of them. Bailey said,

I cannot tell you that much about it. Bravo has not officially released that information yet, but I can say that I think it’s a brilliant idea. I think the fans have been waiting for something like this for a long time. … For someone who’s been on the show for so long, I kind of know what to expect when I go in a house with these ladies, but I would have no idea what to expect if I had ladies from different franchises that I had to go into a house with. So, I think it’s a great idea. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.

Peacock confirmed to Page Six recently that the crossover is definitely happening. It will premiere on the NBC streaming service later this year, but no details as of yet which Real Housewives cities or castmates will be showcased.

Fans of Cynthia Bailey have been urging the model-turned-entrepreneur to do a crossover on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for “a long time,” due to Bailey's bicoastal lifestyle. She currently splits her time between Georgia and California to be closer to her new husband, Mike Hill.

Some of the biggest names speculated to be attached to the crossover special include Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Lisa Rinna, Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey. Bailey revealed that she is actually close with many women across the franchise, saying,

I love Erica Jayne, I think she would be a hoot to film with because I’m kinda, like, low-key obsessed with her Instagram — totally. I’ve known Garcelle [Beauvais] for years, we definitely talk. I love Kyle [Richards]. We worked together a lot. I think Ramona [Singer] would be really interesting to be in a house with because you know good and well, like … she’s just funny to me and she definitely brings her own share of just drama. I guess she cracks me up.

Of course, it would be fantastic to see the likes of certain characters within the Real Housewives franchise interact. I, personally, would pay any kind of money to see Jennifer Aydin and Bethenny Frankel have a conversation.

On the reverse side, a Real Housewives crossover might lack the necessary drama that keeps the shows afloat. The women, knowing it is only a one-time special, might not be as willing to say and do the inappropriate things they're known for. A drunk Real Housewives trip with no tea or shade would be, well, boring.

Who knows, though, maybe the iconic Michael "Bolo" Bolwaire will make appearance at this crossover episode? I'm sure Cynthia Bailey wouldn't mind seeing him, again.
