Jeremih’s COVID battle first came to light this past weekend when TMZ reported that the rapper and songwriter had been admitted to the hospital and was in the ICU. At the time of the report, the site’s sources couldn’t say how long he had been admitted or how long he’d had the virus. But it was stressed that the rapper was not doing well at the time.
Jeremih originally entered the music scene in 2009 with his first hit, “Birthday Sex,” which peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. That single would add momentum to his self-titled debut album. The singer has since been produced other hit singles and has been nominated for an American Music Award, Billboard Music Awards and a Grammy over the years.
It’s beautiful to see so many across the entertainment industry show love and support to Jeremih as he goes through this difficult time. Jeremih has definitely formed a firm support system within the music industry, and they’ve certainly come together to encourage both him and his family.
We here at CinemaBlend wish Jeremih and his family the best during this difficult time.
