Former Bachelorette Ashley Hebert Shares Divorce News In Emotional Post

It's not a secret that finding and keeping lasting love can be a challenge for many of us, but once we watch a couple fall for each other and being their lives together, it can be hard to see them go through difficulties. Unfortunately, those in Bachelor Nation know this all too well, as we've seen numerous couples get together and then split. But, generally, once people from the franchise get married, they tend to stay for the long haul. Now, though, just a couple of months after the franchise saw its first divorce, we're seeing yet another with The Bachelorette's Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum.

Long time fans will know that Ashley and J.P. met on her Season 7 of The Bachelorette and married in 2012, in a lavish ceremony which later aired on ABC as a two-hour special. Since then, they have also welcomed two children, son Fordham Rhys, 6, and daughter Essex Reese, 3. Ashley took to Instagram to share the sad news in a post, which you can see below:

Wow. This is certainly another tough breakup to see. Ashley and J.P. seemed like a Bachelor Nation couple who would be in it for the very long haul, but it's clear from her comments in the Instagram post that the two had been having serious difficulties for quite a while during their nearly eight year long marriage. She noted that they've gone through "years of attempting to repair the damage," from those differences, and while Ashley didn't give any specifics, it's obvious that it was something which was very hard to handle, and simply couldn't be endured by either of them anymore.

Ashley also pointed out that she and J.P. had been separated for "months," which will surely come as a shock to their fans. Aside from being one of the more private couples in Bachelor Nation, the duo appeared together on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons - Ever! over the summer, and were interviewed by host Chris Harrison about their lives now. While there were a few little odd moments during that interview, who isn't giving sorta weird interviews during the pandemic? They seemed to be holding things together as well as any couple in quarantine with two small children.

Looking back on that interview is definitely bittersweet now, seeing as how the divorcing couple also talked about meeting each other for the first time on The Bachelorette and their "fairy tale" lives with one another. After watching it, it would be natural to wonder if they were already separated and simply trying to keep up appearances, because that's not uncommon in any couple when they're not sure whether or not their relationship can be saved. The same must be even more true for a romance that spends some time in the spotlight of the public, especially when that romance began on a show about helping people find their forever love.

Hopefully, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum will finally be able to live the lives they deserve while starting over, and also be able to heal before too much longer.
