The One Chicago action on Wednesday nights has made NBC the place to be for three solid hours of shared-universe drama, but fans will have to go an extra week without new episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. While none of the three series will air an original installment on Wednesday, February 19, the good news is that One Chicago is not already heading into another lengthy hiatus.

No, Med, Fire, and P.D. will all be back next week with new episodes on February 26. In fact, Fire and P.D. are crossing over for a two-parter that will bring back a character from P.D. days gone by, although not for the best reason. Find out what to expect next from Chicago Med and the Chicago Fire/Chicago P.D. two-parter below!

Chicago Med: "I Will Do No Harm"

Chicago Med isn't participating in the One Chicago crossover in its 8 p.m. ET slot on February 26, but just because this event falls short of the fall's "Infection" crossover doesn't mean there won't be some exciting twists all night. After all, Med's Will Halstead recently made what could be a very bad decision, the love triangle is as triangular as ever, and Dr. Charles recently suffered a loss. So, what's happening when "I Will Do No Harm" hits the airwaves?

Dr. Charles and Dr. Manning treat a patient who is fully invested in pretending to be someone other than himself. Noah begins to doubt his abilities as a doctor. Dr. Marcel and Dr. Choi are faced with a tough ethical decision. Dr. Halstead puts his faith in an addict.

Dr. Manning treating a patient determined that he's somebody else definitely sounds like a case to seek Dr. Charles' insight on, and I'm guessing April will wind up somehow involved in what happens with Dr. Marcel and Dr. Choi. Fresh off quitting the safe injection site, Will apparently hopes Hannah has what it takes to recover. Will something go wrong for Noah to doubt himself? We can only find out on February 26 at 8 p.m. ET with Chicago Med.

Chicago Fire: "Off The Grid"

Chicago Fire will cross over with its original spinoff series in the 9 p.m. ET slot on February 26 with "Off The Grid." There will likely be no flesh-eating bacteria for this crossover, but lives will still be very much at risk, as they generally are when the firefighters of Firehouse 51 cross paths with the cops of Chicago P.D. This two-parter brings back none other than P.D.'s Sean Roman, who departed back in P.D. Season 3. What brings him back to the Windy City?

In a two-show crossover event with 'Chicago P.D.,' a series of teen opioid overdoses sees Severide partner with Sean Roman (Brian Geraghty), but begins to suspect there’s more to the story than his old friend is telling him. Casey tries to be there for Brett as she considers her birth mother’s offer to meet.

Considering the crossover probably wouldn't deliver what Fire star Jesse Spencer described as a "Liam Neeson revenge" with Roman back in the mix if this was just about drug overdoses, I'm not surprised it will take two hours and two shows to crack the case! Casey and Brett will evidently still be occupied with her dilemma regarding her birth mom, but the Roman story will be the one to carry over to Chicago P.D.

Chicago P.D.: "Burden Of Proof"

Chicago P.D. will close out the night of One Chicago on February 26 as usual at 10 p.m. ET, but that's not to say that "Burden of Proof" will be business as usual for the cops of Intelligence. Burgess will be back at work after suffering her brutal miscarriage, and she'll seemingly reconnect with former flame Sean Roman. Unsurprisingly, the case that started on Fire will take a dark turn once P.D. takes over:

Part 2 of Crossover with Chicago Fire; Intelligence searches for the dealer who caused multiple overdoses and is connected to Roman's missing sister. The case becomes a homicide investigation when they find the dealer's dead body. Guest star: Brian Geraghty.

I don't want to say that Roman totally killed the guy, but considering how Roman goes about inserting himself into the investigation, I would be very surprised if he's not a prime suspect when the drug dealer winds up dead. That's not to say Roman would necessarily get in much trouble for it; the cops of Intelligence tend to protect their own, and Roman at least was more or less one of them.

See what happens when One Chicago returns to NBC with new episodes of Chicago Med at 8 p.m. ET, Chicago Fire at 9 p.m. ET, and Chicago P.D. at 10 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 26.
