Warning! The following contains spoilers for Big Brother 21. Read at your own risk!

Reality television romances are one of the most entertaining parts of the genre as they give audiences a front-row seat to the beginning of a relationship. That's been the case in Big Brother where we've seen the spark, romance, and setbacks of Jackson Michie and Holly Allen. The two have been through a lot in the house so far, and as the competition draws to a close, audiences have to be wondering what's next for them.

Well, according to Holly, there may not be a "next" for she and Jackson. The former Miss Wyoming revealed that when it comes to a relationship with Jackson outside of the show, she just doesn't see it happening. As for what her reasoning is for that, the HouseGuest revealed she and her current beau are on two different wavelengths.

It sounds like Holly is thinking ahead to life after the show, possibly because she senses that she's headed to the jury house following the upcoming eviction ceremony. It's a somewhat cold statement to make, especially given the two have been very close over the course of Big Brother. Is this just reality setting in, or is this a product of the past couple weeks?

We can only speculate, although it's worth mentioning that the past few weeks have been tense for Jackson and Holly. They've had two major blowups, with the most recent one happening only a couple nights removed from this statement. Holly could still be angry about the fight, and not necessarily serious about cutting ties with Jackson outside of the house.

One other way to interpret Holly's statement is she's merely acknowledging the two are at different points in life which may lead to them breaking up whether she wants it or not. Jackson is a Tennesean 24-year-old still talking about the college life and kicking off a career, and Holly is a 31-year-old living it up as a wine safari guide in Los Angeles. They're in different locations, lead different lives, and may have different dreams for the future.

Plus, Holly has a bit of baggage associated with the idea of dating a "reality star." Holly was in a relationship with former Bachelorette contestant Luke Pell, and as the story goes, was dumped by him so that he could do the show. Jackson has mentioned in the past he thinks it's unfair that she compares him to her exes, so something like this may have come up in the past.
