In case you weren't already excited about all things superhero that the Disney+ streaming service will have to offer, then these three new announcements may push you over the edge. Disney+ already had shows about Loki, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and Wanda and Vision in the works; now you can add shows all about Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel to the list.

The big news of these three shows comes from the D23 Expo 2019. Fans of Marvel have been hoping against hope for a Moon Knight series for quite some time, and many latched on to Kevin Smith's suggestion that Keanu Reeves would make a killer Moon Knight. (Art of what he could look like in the role does confirm that it could be incredible.) Many assumed that if a Moon Knight project happened at all, it would be a film.

On the pages of Marvel Comics, Moon Knight is a former Marine by the name of Marc Spector who winds up as the earthly avatar of the Egyptian Moon God Khonshu. Skilled in hand-to-hand combat and utilizer of gadgets, he could become a sort of MCU Batman. Now, what of the other two characters getting their own series?

She-Hulk will finally get the spotlight, making Bruce Banner no longer the only Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She-Hulk, a.k.a. Jennifer Walters, has been a popular character fit for adaptation for years, and the show will be part of the MCU rather than standalone. This character is in fact so well-suited to a TV show that she was on our recent list of heroes who could totally star in a solo series!

In the comics, Jennifer Walters became She-Hulk after an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, who of course was Hulk/Bruce Banner. Although she did gain his Hulk condition, hers was a much milder case that allowed her to hold on to her personality traits, intelligence, and emotional control. In some of the comics, her transformation from Jennifer Walters to She-Hulk becomes permanent, but I'm guessing that won't be the case for the Disney+ series, since it will be live-action and that would require quite the makeup and/or special effects job.

The Ms. Marvel show will also be part of the MCU. The hero, known also by her civilian name Kamala Khan, will enter the MCU via her show and then expand to the movies. There have reportedly been plans to introduce Kamala Khan into the MCU for quite a while, and one assumption was that she would debut with Captain Marvel or as part of a Captain Marvel movie. Ms. Marvel also made it to our list of Marvel women who deserved a series!

Kamela Khan is the latest incarnation of Ms. Marvel, which was a name previously used by now-Captain Marvel Carol Danvers. British writer and comedian Bisha K. Ali will write and act as showrunner for the series, according to THR. Kamala has been especially notable as se became Marvel's first Muslin character to lead her own comics title. She has polymorphous abilities that allow her to stretch and change her shape.

Stay tuned to CinemaBlend for more from D23 Expo 2019 as well as all things TV and Movies. Disney+ launches on November 12, with these series to follow at some later date.
