What does Sophie Turner think Sansa Stark did after the Game of Thrones finale? When viewers last saw the elder Stark sister, she was getting crowned Queen of the North. This, after her brother Bran Stark had been named King of the Six Kingdoms.

As Game of Thrones fans will recall, the North was allowed to leave the realm of the former Seven Kingdoms in the series finale. After an epic costume reveal that saw Sansa making her way to the North’s throne, what came next? It has been the question on many fans' minds. Sophie Turner has her thoughts on it, telling Los Angeles Times:

No wars, no battles. I see her leading until she’s very old. I don’t see her getting married or having children. I think it would be a democratic kind of kingdom. She’d die of old age, very happy.

It sounds like Sophie Turner envisions Sansa Stark leading a life akin to Queen Elizabeth I. She did not mention her, but there are quite a few similarities in that real leader's life to what she envisions for Sansa. Similar to that monarch, Turner thinks that Sansa would reign until her death.

That is not where the similarities end either. Sophie Turner also thinks that like Queen Elizabeth I, Sansa will remain unmarried and not have any children.

Who would take over after Sansa? Will the Starks have lost their presence in the North? So many questions come from Sophie Turner’s interesting verdict on Sansa’s future. At least Turner believes that Sansa’s future will find her happy. That is arguably what many fans have wanted for the determined Stark.

Sophie Turner is incredibly hopeful about Sansa Stark’s peacekeeping abilities. She believes that Sansa’s reign will incur no wars or battles. Good news for those in the North. Will viewers ever get a chance to find out if this happens?

For now, HBO has made it clear that Game of Thronesspinoff future is in the past via prequels. That bit of clarity came after there was intense interest to see a spinoff around Sansa Stark’s younger sister, Arya.

Whatever the future of House Stark’s bloodline after the Stark siblings we followed for eight seasons, the family will have a continued presence in the past. George R.R. Martin has confirmed that the fan-favorite family will be included in the prequel series. Hopefully, it gets the green-light from HBO!

Sophie Turner previously revealed how she felt about Sansa Stark’s ending in Game of Thrones’ series finale. I do not think I can argue with how Turner sees Sansa’s personal future or her reigning until her death. The question I have is who ends up reigning when she passes away?

If you want to relive Sophie Turner’s Emmy-nominated performance in Game of Thrones’ final season, you can do so on digital. In the lead-up to see if Turner and Game of Thrones win at the Emmys, though, there are many other fall premieres to enjoy.
