The Bachelorette's Hannah And Luke P. Went At It On Twitter After Wild Episode

Well, fans of The Bachelorette finally got to see Hannah tell off Luke P. and send him home last night, but their argument didn't end on the episode. We've known for a few weeks now that Luke was going to be the one sex shaming Hannah in those promos that The Bachelorette has been showing since the beginning of the season, but we got the full showdown in the most recent episode, and it was not pretty.

Their one-on-one date during fantasy suites week started well enough, but when it came time for dinner, Luke decided he needed to have a real conversation with Hannah and as you might know by now this was not going to lead to a happy ending for Luke. He told Hannah how upset he'd be if he found out she'd had sex with any of her other remaining suitors, going so far as to say he'd leave if she was sexually active with another contestant, seeing as how he considered that going against their faith.

Then, in an argument that lasted roughly a half hour, Hannah told him how wrong he was and how angry he was making her, as Luke predictably tried to simultaneously back-pedal about wanting to leave and continued to dig his grave even deeper. It seems like watching the argument brought up a lot of emotions for Luke, because he took to Instagram to say how it "hurt my heart" that Hannah thought he was shaming her. But, then he hopped on Twitter, where it appears that his only motive was to bait Hannah into an argument about sex and faith...and, what do you know, it worked.

Wow, Luke. Just couldn't sit back, watch the episode and leave well enough alone, could you? You had to poke at it, didn't you? As demonstrated on The Bachelorette last night, though, Hannah isn't afraid to defend herself, and she shot back with a faith-based tweet of her own:

Ooooooooo...Shots. Fired! OK, I really wish Hannah had let her words on the show stand for themselves, and not allowed Luke to drag her down (yet again), but I have to say, we're only two tweets in and this fight is already peak internet, so, I honestly can't be too mad at it. Obviously, Luke wasn't going to just let that slam go...

Alright, people. I watched that whole argument on The Bachelorette and at no point did Hannah "laugh at her sin." The only giggles from her during that whole ordeal were of the nervous, I-can't-believe-I-have-to-explain-this-to-a-dude-I'm-not-in-a-monogamous-relationship-with variety. Really, the fact that Luke doesn't seem to get that is almost more anger-inducing than what he said in the episode and on Twitter. I guess I better just let Hannah set the record straight:

Slam! This is the perfect time to bring up Luke's intense fight with Garrett from a couple of weeks ago, where he not only showed a very scary side of himself, but wrapped up that particular argument by picking bologna up from their catered deli tray and dropping it in Garrett's lap while scowling ominously at the confused suitor. Alabama Hannah then took her wonderful clapback a step further...

If I could bow down, I would. Well, I can, but I'm typing this article right now, so, priorities. I do wish (very, very, very much) that this had been the end of all this madness, but Luke had to keep going:

Oh, man. I was kinda hoping that, at Luke noting that Hannah knows "how to get ahold of me," she had tweeted back, "By the throat?" but she wisely decided at that point to take the higher ground and stop this tweetsanity. Now, you might be thinking that this is the end of Hannah's Luke P. drama on her season of The Bachelorette, but if the promo for next week is any indication (and I believe it is), you are, unfortunately, dead wrong in a sexless windmill. Observe...

UGHUGHUGHHHHHHHHH! I know the Bachelor franchise producers are interested in all the drama they can get on camera at any point in time, but did it occur to any of them that letting Luke crash the fantasy suite rose ceremony might actually be dangerous? Forget the hints of an actual, physical fight that seem to be brewing, what if Hannah had just had enough and walloped the cross-wearing dude on the back of the head with a rock?

Of course, if Luke hadn't been allowed to become said ceremony crasher, we wouldn't have yet another example of his arrogance and complete disregard for Hannah's opinions and feelings. So, bright sides, I guess?

We can all tune in to The Bachelorette next Monday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC to see if Hannah has to have Luke carted off by security, if he actually (eventually) respects her wishes, or if one of her final three just pushes his ass off a Greek cliff.
