Remember Bachelorette's Other Luke P.? Big Brother 21 Cast His Ex-Girlfriend

The Bachelorette Luke Pell ABC

Before Hannah Brown's The Bachelorette 2019 turned into The Luke P. Show for Luke Parker, ABC had another Luke P. in Luke Pell. He vied for JoJo Fletcher's heart in The Bachelorette Season 12 in 2016, taking fourth place. Luke went from there to The Bachelor Winter Games, which aired in early 2018. On the winter spinoff, Luke Pell ended a brief fling with fellow contestant Stassi, saying he was still hung up on his ex. That ex was Holly Allen, and she just got cast for Big Brother 21 on CBS.

CBS just announced the cast for Big Brother 21, which premieres on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. One of the houseguests is 31-year-old "Wine Safari Guide" Holly Allen.

Big Brother Jeff interviews Holly Allen for Big Brother 21 BB21 CBS

Holly Allen and The Bachelorette's war veteran Luke Pell rekindled their romance after Bachelor Winter Games, but broke up again in late May 2018. According to E!, the split was tied to incompatibility after moving in together in Nashville, Tennessee.

An unnamed source at the time shaded Luke Pell in the breakup:

Holly knows this is the best for her. She realized he wasn't the person that she thought he was and that the person who he portrays on TV is not his authentic self. At some points he was good but Holly held onto the fact that he is a good guy because they come from similar backgrounds. At the end of the day the fame changed him.

Yikes. Will fame change her too?

Holly Allen had a Big Brother cast interview with Jeff Schroeder, like everyone else, and at one point she did mention a bit about her relationship status:

Maybe because of my dating history I'm not very [trusting]. ... I'm going in single and skeptical.

Don't be surprised if we hear her talk about Luke Pell during Big Brother 21.

Wyoming native Holly Allen does not seem to be much of a Big Brother fan. She tried to pass off as one to Jeff, but it sounds like she binged Jeff's BB11 and maybe not much else. She didn't recognize the Diary Room as the Diary Room, and in her CBS bio, when asked for her favorite Big Brother cast member, she answered, "I haven't watched it enough to have a favorite." At least she was honest there!

Holly described herself in her bio as "Spontaneous, sarcastic, and relentless," and we'll have to see if those traits are obvious once Big Brother 21 starts.

Check out the rest of the BB21 cast and their bios. Thankfully, Big Brother 2019 decided not to go with the rumors of a half-returnees cast. A few of the BB21 HGs have even seen some past seasons. So they are not all just there for the TV time. That's always refreshing. I'm already rooting for Cliff Hogg III because he's 53 and the "old guy" almost always gets evicted early. I also love Isabella Wang already, and I feel like Ovi Kabir has potential to go far.

Big Brother Season 21 premieres Tuesday (yes, Tuesday), June 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS. Luke Pell will probably be watching carefully. Meanwhile, The Luke P. Show continues on The Bachelorette Season 15 Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC. Don't forget that Bachelor in Paradise is following The Bachelorette on ABC with even more past contestant drama.

Gina Carbone

Gina grew up in Massachusetts and California in her own version of The Parent Trap. She went to three different middle schools, four high schools, and three universities -- including half a year in Perth, Western Australia. She currently lives in a small town in Maine, the kind Stephen King regularly sets terrible things in, so this may be the last you hear from her.
