The Flash Trailer Reveals A New Group Of Rogues And New Look For Nora

Warning! The following contains spoilers for The Flash's "Snow Pack.' Read at your own risk.

If "Snow Pack" and the upcoming episode "Gone Rogue" are any indication, Barry messed up by sending Nora back to the future. The young speedster went back to Eobard Thawne for guidance and, with his and Iris' unintentional help, managed to successfully enter the Negative Speed Force. She emerged with glowing red eyes, and from the looks of the company she's keeping in "Gone Rogue," a new outlook on life.

Gone is the XS costume, and Nora's rocking a leather jacket and a hoodie that seems to show she's made a transformation. As for what that transformation is, exactly, we've yet to see but apparently whatever is happening involves her teaming up with folks like Weather Witch, Queen Bee, and Ragdoll for some nefarious plot. They've kidnapped Sherloque and Cisco, although their intentions in the trailer aren't immediately clear.

Is Nora's collaboration with this "New Rogues" group an act of rebellion? If the group ends up working towards some meaningless heist, then chances are this is more or less a rebellious child acting out in an attempt to hurt her father. Of course, causing physical harm to Cisco and the ever-entertaining Sherloque goes a bit farther than "acting out." It would also serve as a huge turning point in Nora's character, but is she fully there yet?

As Joker once said, "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy." Having said that, Nora's anger at her father does not seem like it should be so extreme that she's suddenly wanting to hurt other people for her own selfish gain. Perhaps she'll realize that and leave this villain group before the episode's up, and stop their nefarious plot before it's too late.

Of course, we don't know that Nora and these Rogues are plotting something evil for sure, or at least, something as evil as The Flash viewers may assume. After all, one of Nora's motivations for traveling back was to stop Cicada, which she can now do without her dad telling her how to operate. This includes killing the new Cicada, which Nora might be more willing to do now that she's been rejected by Barry.

Additionally, these metahuman villains have some vested interest in killing off Cicada. Adult Grace killed her own uncle, so it's a safe bet she's about as indiscriminate in which metas she kills as he is. Nora could be assembling a Team Reverse-Flash of sorts that she believes will help her overcome Cicada and finish the serial killer's reign of terror once and for all.

We won't know for sure until The Flash returns to The CW with a new episode Tuesday, April 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Keep with CinemaBlend for all the latest Arrow-verse updates, as well as other information on the latest and greatest television shows.
