Everyone should take caution, because Katarina Rostova will return for a major upcoming episode of The Blacklist. The NBC drama is saving its Katarina-centric episodes for another two-hour double feature that will go down on Friday, April 26. What can fans expect to see?

As it's known, Ressler is continuing his investigation into Liz’s mother. Well, he apparently hits the “mother” lode in the first half of next week’s episode. Check out NBC's official synopsis.

Alone in a foreign country after a mission goes catastrophically wrong, Katarina Rostova (guest star Lotte Verbeek) goes on the run to avoid the forces trying to hunt her down. Isolated and out of options, she seeks out the only person she trusts, a man who has vowed to always protect her.

So Ressler will make a discovery regarding Katarina Rostova’s past, will he?. In last week’s episode “Lady Luck,” he learned that Katarina’s mom/Liz’s grandmother is still alive out there. What could Ressler’s new discovery be then? Well, there's likely no one better than Katarina to get some insights.

The elusive woman of mystery will be returning for a significant episode that will hopefully provide answers to a lot of lingering questions. It sounds like it could be a flashback episode, too, which hints a vital Blacklist is in store. Who is the man Katarina turns to? All signs point to Raymond Reddington.

The biggest clue? Revenge’s Gabriel Mann will be guest starring, and the actor bears a pretty striking resemblance to James Spader. Hence, he is the perfect actor to join in to play a younger Red in the past. Check out a picture of Mann as Nolan in Revenge below:

Here's hoping he's been working on nailing James Spader's cadence.

Without proof of that, though, it is admittedly hard to tell when this Katarina-centric episode will take place. What is interesting is that Katarina may be talking to the “real” Raymond Reddington, meaning The Blacklist may finally give viewers a glimpse at the original namesake whose identity was nabbed by the man that audiences know as Red.

Earlier this season, it was revealed that Katarina framed the real Reddington for treason, among other things. Could another Katarina-related revelation be in store? As someone who has been craving another episode filled with answers, I'm hoping this could be it.

Also noteworthy is that Brian Dennehy will guest star in both episodes that comprise The Blacklist’s two-parter, playing Katarina’s father, Dom. He has guest-starred in previous seasons, and Red has visited him on numerous occasions, with the two sharing a frosty relationship. Despite the bluster, they are kind of close. Red destroyed Raymond Reddington’s remains on his property and in his presence, which is kind of a bonding experience.

Thanks to pictures from next week’s episode, we can see Red visiting with Dom again. They are even shown working on a project together. According to the synopsis, Red seeks out Dom’s help in “making a difficult decision.” What could that be?

It appears the two will be working on a car repair together. Will the audience instantly know all about the difficult decision Red needs Dom's help in making? I'm not getting my hopes up. Red is not the only one paying Dom a visit, though, as Liz will also make contact with him. Check out this picture from the evening's second episode:

Will Liz learn that Dom is her grandfather? Hopefully! There is no reason I can think of for why The Blacklist would continue keeping that a secret from her any longer. As for Katarina, we may see her in the past, but the present is another story. Where is she? Is she still alive?

The Blacklist has given fans quite a few answers about Liz’s mother in Season 6. A few more could not hurt things. See Katarina Rostova in next week’s two-hour block airing on Friday, April 26 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
