Watch America's Got Talent: The Champions' Opera Rocker Deliver A Stunning Bohemian Rhapsody Performance

America's Got Talent: The Champions showcases the best of the best that the franchise has to offer, and that was certainly evident this week for one competitor in particular. Got Talent España (Spain's Got Talent) winner Cristina Ramos took the stage and blew the minds of the judges and audience with an opera-inspired rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." Check it out below, and see this performance go from 0 to 100 faster than the speed of light.

With a voice and performance like those, it's not surprising Cristina Ramos took home the top honor for Season 1 of Got Talent España. It's also no surprise "Bohemian Rhapsody" works so well performed in the classical opera style, especially given the song was written with an opera piece. I'd like to think Freddie Mercury would be proud of Ramos' effort, especially given how she was able to work the crowd during her performance.

Cristina Ramos' decision to go with a Queen song was certainly a terrific decision. The big-screen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody is doing solid in the midst of awards season, and the world has certainly found a renewed interest in the iconic rock band in the months before and after the movie's release. That said, it's not as though Queen has ever been unpopular, and anyone can appreciate a spirited performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody." (Even "Weird" Al Yankovic's version is awesome.)

Cristina Ramos' whole performance is somewhat reminiscent of her initial show-stopping stage work that first put Spanish TV on notice. Ramos first debuted on stage with a performance that looked to be rather traditional, only for her to rip off her dress and explode into a Spanish version of AC/DC's "Highway To Hell."

This pari of Ramos' acts is evidence that high-level competition certainly exists in the international Got Talent spinoffs, and that the top contestants definitely don't solely exist on America's Got Talent. That makes sense, of course, given a singer likeSusan Boyle captivated American audiences long before she became a finalist in America's Got Talent: The Champions. Even so, is Cristina Ramos' dominance a sign there are still plenty of competitors outside of the United States who can end up winning this thing?

It seems very possible at this point, as Cristina Ramos delivered an upset to America's sweetheart puppet singer Darci Lynne after they were revealed to be the top two trying to advance to the finals round of America's Got Talent: The Champions. That feels huge, but even after earning that massive victory, Ramos still has a long road to travel until she can rightfully stand above the rest of the competition to call herself the world's best competitor.

America's Got Talent: The Champions continues on NBC every Monday night at 8:00 p.m. ET.
