Subscribe To Michael Bolton Denies Falling Asleep During Live Interview Updates
Like your cell phone, your laptop and other electronic equipment located around your house, the human body needs to recharge. It might not always be at the most opportune time, but most of us need a few hours to sleep and re-energize ourselves for the challenges that meet us with each new day. For Michael Bolton, however, it looked as though his sleep schedule fell at an unfortunate time, as footage from a morning talk show made it seem as though he were falling asleep on the air, in front of viewers around the area. It was pretty embarrassing, but Bolton claims he didn't actually fall asleep.
Michael Bolton tried to clear the air about the on-air snooze on Twitter, claiming that he was actually using the social media site during filming, and due to a glitch, it made it seem like he was falling asleep during the interview. Whether you believe that excuse or not, it is the one the musician is sticking with. The contested sleep session occurred on The Morning Show, an Australian morning talk show series, and he was recording the interview from Florida where he was promoting his latest album, A Symphony of Hits. Evidently, it might've been a little too early in the morning for the musician to interview.
As Michael Bolton has demonstrated in the past, he has a pretty good sense of humor about himself, his image and his music. If he did actually fall asleep on the air, which it appears that he did, you would think he would own up to it, make a couple jokes, and then move on. But Bolton is claiming that he didn't actually fall asleep, and that appearances are deceiving when it comes to what happened during this morning talk show chat.

If you have to get up at an ungodly hour in order to get yourself TV-ready and set to speak for an interview, you would be forgiven (in this writer's opinion) for snoozing on the job. If anything, it makes Michael Bolton seem a little more human if he is susceptible to sleep just like the rest of us. But Bolton doesn't believe that's what happened here. Instead, he claims that it was a glitch and that he was actually tweeting. Do you believe that story?
In any case, Michael Bolton did his best to explain what happened here, and that's the story he's sticking with. Meanwhile, for the updates in film, television, pop culture, and a whole lot more, you can always be sure to check back with us right here at CinemaBlend to hear the latest.
