In the piece, Williams says she bonded with her new husband through their mutual understanding of losing a partner due to tragic circumstances while trying to raise a small child. For Michelle Williams, that tragedy was the loss of Heath Ledger, the late actor she dated for three years after they worked together on Ang Lee's acclaimed drama Brokeback Mountain. It has been ten years since Ledger left this world filled with a wealth of talent and raw potential. She remembers him through their daughter, Matilda (12).
