HeroBlend #45: Captain Marvel Spoiler Review And Shazam! Early Reaction

Welcome to HeroBlend #45! This week, Eric and Adrienne have their full spoiler reviews of Captain Marvel (after a brief non-spoiler chat) plus Eric's early reaction to Shazam! And, to get us started, we have that early reaction for you, in the form of a little mini-segment we like to call 2 Minutes with Captain Sparklefingers! Then, we'll get into the news, and we have lots of cool info to share with all of you. We'll get into topics such as the new trailers for Shazam! and the James Gunn produced, twisted Superman-like tale Brightburn. We'll also talk about the end of Arrow on the CW, what Ben Affleck was hoping to do with his Batman solo movie, some revelations about the cast of The Suicide Squad, Sean Gunn's hopes for Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3, who should direct Venom 2 and much more!

Now, we can get into the nitty gritty of this week's discussion: Captain Marvel! Eric and Adrienne were both able to screen the film early, and we'll start off with some spoiler-free reactions for those of you who haven't seen the movie yet. But...then, we'll go deep into spoiler territory and talk all about the plot, the many surprises and twists the film throws at comic fans, the dynamic between Carol and Nick Fury, the action scenes, performances, effects, what we loved, didn't like so much, the illuminating end credits scenes and, of course, our thoughts on Goose the cat! Now, sit back and relax, folks, because this is one chat you're not going to want to miss. Ready to dive in? Great! Listen for yourself above!
