The Cord Cutter Podcast #56: Netflix In February

Welcome to The Cord Cutter Podcast #56! The first month of the new year is almost over, and Mick, Adrienne and Jeff are ready to fill you in on all the cool new things coming to Netflix in February! As usual, there will be a ton of new options for subscribers to try when the calendar flips to February, and by "try" I obviously mean binge. There will be loads to see in classic (and not so classic) film series, teen favorites, horror and modern comedy classics, while Netflix Originals will be bringing a wide array of films, cooking shows, reality programming, specials and long-awaited fantasy to your preferred viewing devices.

February is pulling out all the stops by adding some film series to the slate; one is a classic thriller franchise, and the other is a still-popular series of teen comedies. They've also got a recent coming of age story you can't miss, as well as a true classic for the diehards who'd like to relive a major teen film from their younger days, or catch it for the first time. The month also brings us a horror film that helped define the genre at the start of the century and a comedy that's become a modern classic.

The Netflix Originals are no slouch this month, either. You'll be treated to two high profile films (one of which is a super creepy looking horror movie, a comedic and educational take on Black History) a new version of a hit baking show, a brand new dating show, a fantasy series based on a popular comic and another edition of one of the best food shows around. If you want the full list, be sure to check that out right here. Ready to dive in? Great! Read on to get the lowdown on this week's podcast and then listen for yourself above!
