Halloween Kills Producer Shares New Look At Michael Myers In Action

Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween Kills' trailer

Moviegoers were disappointed when countless movies were delayed last year, including David Gordon Green’s horror sequel Halloween Kills. But the project is set to finally arrive this October in time for the titular holiday. And one producer has shared a new look at MIchael Myers back in action.

Blumhouse’s 2018 Halloween movie served as a direct sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 original, and became a massive box office hit when it arrived in theaters. Two more sequels were quickly ordered, starting with Halloween Kills. And executive producer Ryan Freimann recently shared some set photos featuring Michael Myers himself, check it out below:

The Shape is back, and he looks pissed. While the contents of Halloween Kills are being kept under wraps, the limited footage has shown that Michael Myers is going to rack up a serious body count throughout the movie’s mysterious runtime. I guess he really didn’t like being almost burned alive in Laurie Strode’s basement.

The above images come to us from the Instagram of Ryan Freimann, who will serve as an executive producer for all three installments of David Gordon Green’s Halloween movies. Considering the long wait for Halloween Kills, the generations of fans are eager for any new glimpse at the mysterious slasher. That’s especially true when it comes to the villainous Michael Myers himself.

Information about Halloween Kills might be limited, but anticipation for the project is at a fever pitch. The sequel will pick up immediately after the events of the 2018 sequel, where Laurie and her family have trapped Michael in her basement and set the place ablaze. But The Shape won’t go down that easily, and soon the entire town of Haddonfield is forced to arm up and fight the villain.

Jamie Lee Curtis has teased how Halloween Kills will unpack the events of John Carpenter’s 1978 original Halloween, and will follow as Haddonfield becomes an angry mob. A number of actors from the original movie will be reprising their roles: Nancy Stephens, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, and Charles Cyphers. Additionally, we’ll meet adult versions of the characters Tommy Doyle and Lonnie Elam. It’s basically the Avengers of Halloween movies.

It should be interesting to see what violent chaos befalls the people of Haddonfield during Halloween Kills, because the trailer certainly made it sound like a bloodbath. Those involved in the trilogy have also teased how different each chapter is, especially the upcoming threequel Halloween Ends. Hopefully that next movie starts production soon, if the filmmakers are still intending to release Ends next October.

Halloween Kills is currently set to arrive in theaters on October 15th. In the meantime, check out the 2021 movie release dates to plan your next movie experience.
