ReelBlend #93: Jamie Lee Curtis Talks Knives Out And Her Career Highlights

Powered by RedCircle

This week, the ReelBlend boys get International, with Kevin McCarthy and Sean O’Connell on the road in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the Jumanji: The Next Level junket! The boys leave a portion of this week’s show to talk of the movie, including the incredible activities that are part of the trip (one of the guys goes Bungee Jumping!!), and teasing some of the awesome interviews that we have in store for you, the listener.

The focus this week, however, is on Jamie Lee Curtis, who is starring in Rian Johnson’s new movie Knives Out, and wasn’t supposed to be on our show, at all. But you never know how the week is going to play out, and Kevin has an amazing story about getting this Hollywood icon on the show. Give it a listen!

The guys take some time to review A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Frozen II this week. One of them is beloved. The other one… not so much.

In terms of news, the guys dive into what Gabe refers to as “the most ReelBlend story anyone has ever shared.” That’s one hell of a tease. Also, there’s real confusion on the front of a Joker sequel. Is it happening? Not happening? We try and break it all down for you.
