Tom Holland Responds To Fan Demand For Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer

Tom Holland in Avengers: Infinity War Marvel MCU

Come on, "Spoiler-Man," we're all counting on you! There's been a lot of chatter about the MCU's Captain Marvel in March and Avengers: Endgame in April, and both of those films have shared at least one trailer at this point. But what about Spider-Man: Far From Home, which hits theaters in July? Spider-Man/Peter Parker star Tom Holland revealed a trailer at Brazil Comic-Con, but it was exclusive to those fans.

However, the rest of the Marvel fandom is getting restless. Some of those restless fans made a very loud, very pushy, but also very hilarious video demanding a trailer. Tom Holland decided to answer:

That video is seriously something else. They're right, though, that 2018 was the best year for Spider-Man. How can 2019 top it?

But fans may be in for some good news. Not only did Tom Holland reply saying he'd see what he could do, there's a rumor -- via SuperBroMovies -- that the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer is dropping this very Tuesday, January 15. We'll have to wait and see if that happens as teased, or if it gets pushed back like the first Avengers: Endgame trailer.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is in a more awkward position than its MCU predecessors in that it will still have to explain its existence. After all, we saw what happened to Peter Parker at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. How is he now going on summer vacation in Europe?

That may just mean the real push for this movie will have to wait for after Avengers: Endgame. It helps that there's a nearly three-month gap between Endgame and Far From Home, so Tom Holland, Zendaya (Michelle "MJ" Jones), Spider-Man newbie Jake Gyllenhaal (Quentin Beck/Mysterio), director Jon Watts, and company can make the rounds and talk about where Endgame leaves the story.

And, since we're talking about Tom Holland, we can hope he reveals a little too much information. That's his reputation, and the reputation of fellow Avengers star Mark Ruffalo. New Captain Marvel Brie Larson revealed she's developed a system to keep herself from pulling a Ruffalo-Holland -- which should be the scientific term -- since she has so many Marvel spoilers to keep track of between her film and Endgame.

In theory, Tom Holland knows all of those spoilers, too, plus more for his own film. So it's only a matter of time before he cracks -- unless they keep Benedict Cumberbatch around at all times to keep him in check.

Spider-Man: Far From Home may or may not release that sweet, sweet trailer this Tuesday. The film itself is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 5, 2019. Don't forget to keep our 2019 movie guide handy for all the release dates ahead.
