Spider-Man: Far From Home Set Photo Has Tom Holland, Zendaya And More In Venice

While nobody knows quite what will happen to Spider-Man in Avengers 4, eventually, he's going to take a nice European vacation. Spider-Man: Far From Home is currently in production and it will take Peter Parker and his friends across the pond to Europe. This will apparently include a stop off in Venice, as Tom Holland recently shared a picture of himself, along with co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, enjoying the waterways of the famous city. Check it out.

Needless to say, these three look like they're having a pretty fun time in Tom Holland's Instagram image. It's fitting, since, from everything we know about Spider-Man: Far From Home, the story will take place during summer vacation from school and Peter and his friends get to spend the summer in Europe. It's a nice vacation if you can swing it. and it's probably almost as much fun to be making a movie in Venice as it is to be on vacation there.

Peter Parker could probably use a nice vacation. While the fact that Far From Home exists confirms that, one way or another, Spider-Man will be saved from the Soul Stone, what that will take, and what that will take out of him, is far from clear. Dying and coming back has to change a person in some way, and perhaps that's what leads Peter Parker to run off to Europe, a need to get away and think about his life after having gone through so much. Of course, with half the planet having gone through the same thing, he may not be the only one. Some of Peter's friends, like Ned and Michelle, may have had a very similar experience.

Of course, the whole movie won't simply be Peter Parker navel gazing. This is a Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero movie after all. That means there will be fights between costumed good and bad guys at some point. Exactly who the costumed bad guys will be have not been confirmed, but rumors have indicated everybody from Mysterio (possibly played by Jake Gyllenhaal) to the Chameleon, to Hydro Man, or possibly some combination of them, could appear.

While we don't know who the villains are, we do know a couple of heroes who will be joining Spider-Man: Far From Home as it appears that Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders will reprise their roles as Nick Fury and Maria Hill, confirming at least two more victims of Thanos who will find their way back.

While Spider-Man: Far From Home is less than a year away, with a July 2019 release date, we probably won't see very much in the way of official images or trailers for the foreseeable future, as to keep the Avengers 4 spoilers to a minimum.
