Re-Watch Thor And Hulk's Fight Scene Before Thor: Ragnarok Hits Blu-Ray

Leading up to Thor: Ragnarok, many Marvel fans were especially excited about seeing how the film would incorporate elements of the Planet Hulk storyline. Hulk has been a highlight of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films thus far, and the trailers teased him and Thor fighting gladiator style in the new film. The two titans had clashed once before in The Avengers in a classic bout, but this time there would an open arena and the two would be wearing cool armor, so expectations were high. When they finally squared off, the resulting fight was the rare rematch that surpassed the original. In advance of Thor: Ragnarok's home video release, Marvel Studios is giving you a chance to relive some of this epic battle between the God of Thunder and the Green Goliath. Take a look below.

This scene really encapsulates everything that is great about Thor: Ragnarok. It also shows that the tonal shift, masterfully exectured by director Taika Waititi, was a good choice for this franchise. While not the best MCU film so far, Thor: Ragnarok may very well be the most fun and entertaining entry. Chris Hemsworth has shown hints of his comedy chops before, but this movie really gives him a lot to work with and lets him show off just how funny he can be. Also seeing Tom Hiddleston's Loki go from smug and content to terrible and uncomfortable is great. While this clip only gives us a taste of the fight itself, the gladiator-style battle is a ton of fun. This colorful, cosmic clash has all the humor, action and fun characters that will make this movie infinitely re-watchable.

Fans who are excited to re-watch this film won't have to wait long. Thor: Ragnarok arrives digitally in 4K Ultra HD, HD and Movies Anywhere on February 20. For those who prefer the collectability and quality of a physical release, Thor: Ragnarok comes to Blu-ray, DVD, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on March 6. For those with the gear to support it, the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release, dubbed the Ultimate Cinematic Universe Edition (how fancy), will feature a high dynamic range picture and Dolby Atmos sound.

While I don't always watch the special features, this is one movie that I think might demand it. The deleted scenes and outtakes should be hilarious. Some of the other bonus material will include a look at the women of Thor: Ragnarok and an interview with the hilarious Taika Waititi about casting Korg, which alone should be worth the price of admission. With Avengers: Infinity War on the horizon, there will also be a retrospective on the first decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a primer for where everyone is at heading into that battle with Thanos.

With the calendar turning to 2018 and Black Panther finally arriving next month, it is a great year for Marvel fans. Since Thor: Raganrok will be released on home video prior to Thanos arriving to Earth, Marvel fans can begin to plan their marathons of all ten years worth of MCU films to get properly hyped for May's Avengers: Infinity War.
