Tom Holland Broke His Nose, Again, On The Set Of New Movie

This summer, viewers around the world became familiar with the name Tom Holland. The young actor played Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming, one of the most successful movies of the summer. Holland was celebrated for his performance and by all accounts seems to be a cool, down to Earth guy who's totally grateful for how his career is turning out. He's a lucky guy, but not so much when it comes to his nose. The actor has now broken his nose on the set of his new movie, which will make for the second time this has happened to him.

Tom Holland is currently filming his next major role as the male lead in the adaptation of the young adult novel, Chaos Walking. Having been Spider-Man and Billy Elliot, Holland is a pretty athletic guy and can pull off some acrobatics on his own (he's a fan of flips). However, one stunt may have gone awry because Tom Holland is reporting that, once again, he's broken his nose. Holland didn't go into specifics about what happened (gotta save something for the press tour) and only cheekily tweeted that he broke his nose.

This will make for the second time that Tom Holland has broken his nose while on a movie set. The first time happened during the filming of the period jungle film, The Lost City of Z. As the story goes, on his last day of filming -- during his final shot, in fact -- the director James Gray essentially dared Holland to do a back flip. Due to the fact that he was wearing leather boots on the jungle ground, Holland ended up landing on his face and breaking his nose. He then had to go a Colombian hospital to treat it, but no one spoke English and they kept trying to take his pants off.

For those curious, Chaos Walking is a young adult series written by Patrick Ness. The series is set in a dystopian world where women have died out and every living creature can hear each other's thoughts in a series of words, images, and sounds called Noise. The plot follows Todd Hewitt, who discovers a very much alive girl named Viola and is forced to go on the run to uncover a vast mystery. The film will be directed by Doug Liman and stars Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley, Nick Jonas, and Mads Mikkelson.

We're sure to hear the story about how Tom Holland broke his nose again somewhere down the road on the way to the March 1, 2019, release date of Chaos Walking.
